ok, so i wanted to ask some veterans for your help. I went to the BIOS REQUESTS thread and received the needed fix i needed for my MSI motherboard to have SLIC 2.1 but the problem is that i've only use Live Updater 5 to upgrade my Bios versions in the past and looking through the forum i haven't found a way to Install this new update into my Bios without the updater. The intructions say that it must be done using a floppy disc which i do not have currently. If anyone understand my problem pls send me in the right direction. Any help is appreciated. Update: the updated BIOS that i was shown was said to be 'working' but i went to my msi website and they said that my motherboard had limitations and does not support ME/98 so how is it possible that it was working if i cannot boot even with USB?
the link to the post you mention will be useful to help you! the floppy may be replaced by an USB stick with certain conditions.

All the other tabs checked out fine except there might have been some scrypt missing on the ACPI one when compared to the screenshot examples. Let me know if that was what you meant and if it helps any. p.s. I do have SLIC 2.1 on my Tables
An SLP string is NOT needed for Win 7 Activation, it's only for XP Activation. Look at the Advanced Tab and see is everything is Green and shows SLIC 2.1.
