    Hi,
I was 'investagating' Vista a while back. I didn't brick my machine but
I would like to undo whatever it was I had done. It has resulted in difficulties
for installing large OS'es that require a dvd vs cd to install.

I can say that my bios does not appear to be the same in XP as it is in Vista.

H33T wrote, 'There will not be another partition that will be added during boot to emulate the BIOS like all of the loaders that are out there.'

I can understand the words bios emulation. But that is where it ends.
Does such a partition exist in the alloted bios space?
How does one know if it is being used?
Will a flash from the OEM remove it?

    TIA
