The bios on the Asus K55A laptop is corrupted, I can't get even get to the recovery bios option. I've taken out the bios chip, can I just program the chip with latest bios file form Asus website directly onto the chip with a programmer, or would have to make some modification to the bios file first?
It's ok i've fixed it now. I found a dump of the bios and i reprogrammed the chip with the chip programer and now it's working all fine.
