BIOS Flash problem

    I tried to flash my AMI BIOS with AFUDOS on my Toshiba Satellite L40-12K laptop but when it started it said:

    Bootblock checksum ... ok
    Module checksums .... ok
    Erasing flash ..... 0x00080000 (0%)

    and that is. It doesn't do anything in a couple of hours already. What to do? Help me. (Sorry for my english)

    A friend of mine had same problem on a Toshiba Equium stuck at 0% erase.
    This is not going to help you but it stayed like this indefinately and on power off it never rebooted again even the power led wouldnt light up.

    I hope someone can help you with this :(

    I have a Toshiba Satellite L40 aswell, and I flashed it.
    Why didn't you use the tools provided by Toshiba? You wouldn't have to use Afudos tool.
    I don't know what can be done in this situation. =S
