Hi. am i right in thinking that if you install vista with an OEM disk and have a SLIC modded BIOS. the certificate and product key will be installed automatically?
Otherwise, the .exe file from the Dell website seems to be a zlib-compressed self-extracting zip one. It extracts itself into the temp folder (and also sweeps away afterwards?) under the username folder, so you have to make a trick on the temp folder to grab the files extracted (you can get free a program for things like that).
Try to dumo your bios like this, using HWDirect... Start hwdirect. Go to the item "memory dump" Double click. A window open's: 1. go to "Physical address" enter "F0000" 2. go to "Size" enter "FFFF" 3. Press "DUMP" 4. right click, select all. 5. right click , copy Start winHex. paste it into a new file, therefore use ASCII hex. Save & Upload. This are the global steps to take.
