    Hi,
I recently bought a netpc which boots from network and didn't had any hdd's. I want to install OS but the BIOS is restricted and can't boot from neither CDRom nor HDD.So I decided to flash the BIOS with Intel's 945GCLF BIOS.But it gives "BIOS ID's don't match" error.
Is there any way to mod Intel 945GLF BIOS ID so that I can flash netpc?

    motherboard: Intel D945GCLF

    NetPC BIOS ID: LF94510J.64T.0000.2009.0123.1105
    Intel BIOS ID: LF94510J.86A.0229.2009.0729.2009

    Please help.

USB boot also disabled.I tried replacing 86A to 64T at three positions in EFI header but Intel Integrator assistant still says it is 86A BIOS.

ATM I cannot check it further, but there must be another position from where it gets the info.....fourth position?

    (OP)
Replaced all occurrence of 8.6.A (4) and 86A (2) with 6.4.T and 64T.Now Intel integrator says "Unable to load selected BIOS File".
