    Yeah I found the 22TDK blacklist info. Then found a valid oem key and was thrilled when it worked. :) But thank you for the extra keys, can't have to many can we. ;-)

    So now I am wondering will the new not blacklisted key work when I try and download "Windows 7 XP mode"?
    I found the download on a torrent site to avoid getting bonked by Micr$oft but really want to try downloading from MS. Do you think its safe or will I get another not genuine black screen and may we at M$ part you with some more $$ for the privlege.

    That black screen makes me feel like a pirate... oh wait. ;-) lol

    Speaking from experience with slic 2.1 activation you will be fine dl'ing any updates or xp compatibility mode from M$.

    ^ Yes,
    You can definitely download XP Mode or any other Genuine Software you want.

    Ok I took a chance and tried downloading Windows 7 XP mode virtual PC.
    The Good - it wasn't able to invalidate my Windows 7. :)
    The Bad - it still knows I am not genuine so it didn't let me download. :-(
    The Ugly - I'm downloading it via bittorrent p2p. ;-)

    Maybe you can try getting to the download and see if it lets you in.

    I prefer not using a torrent download but in a pinch it'll do.
