I couldn't find a key for gigabyte in the keyfile. What am I supposed to do? Am I missing something? can I just install an Asus certificate and then use an Asus key, or something like that? Yes, you may choose any oem you want. Asus is most popular at Gigabyte bios. Just request for a Asus SLIC mod. The key, the SLIC and the cert must be from the same OEM, that's all.
phew, thanks for the reply. yeah, I'll stick to asus. That is what I used in my current comp, but I had an asus mb so I didn't think about it. hope my format/vista/crack sequence goes well when the new comp arrives..
