Bios Mod request for HP Compaq DC7600

    does the bios determine what processor can be used? If so, can C2D support be added to the bios for a DC7600? Must also retain support for Pentium 4/D

    I have been searching for ages for dc7700 bios mods but it seems to be too difficult to mod these, I was requesting for an OEM SLIC mod.
    It is a custom HP bios.

    also I think the chipset on the dc7600 does not support it.

    The DC7800 bios {786F1} has c2d support... if only there were a way to trick that one into working
