    Hi im trying to mod this bios using the flash your own way;

    Motherboard Manufacturer and Model : Gigabyte GA-8IG-1000MK (REV 1.X)
    - Bios revision: V6.00PG i865G-6A79AG0TC-00
    - Bios Type : AWARD Modular 07/29/2005

    I inserted a HP isa.bin file into my bios.bin and then flashed the mother board, all went well but my vista still has 10 days to death. So I take it it has not worked, unless i have done something wrong,

    can anyone shed some more light onto this for me thanks!!

    Can you post Everest Result, the HP isa file you put in your bios and the bios you mod ?

    Hi the ISA file is attatched HP (i chose HP as my vista os is HP branded)

    my bios is from the link above

    Everest result im not too sure what this is, I ran cbrom mybios.bin /ias isa.bin

    it then said done 7.59 % so i did it again and it said caution this file is already patched with isa or words to that effect
