BIOS modding problem

    Testing install win7 with old mobo Gigabyte GA-K8NS s754 , with 2 stick DDR @1GB each.
    Mod the bios with award tool v1.27, the result as below

    1. Win7 can't finished the installation. Hang at "expanding installation..."

    2. Remove 1 DDR stick, Win7 can install and activated with proper certificate & OEM key.

    3. With Win7 already activated, putting back the ram module, after login to desktop, it suddenly hang (with 1 ddr stick is not a problem), & some device not working like usb mouse, audigy card

    4. Flashing back with original bios, (win7 back to trial mode) with 2 ddr stick, i can play win7 without any problem at all for almost 4 hours.

    The conclusion is, using mod bios is unstablle or not safe, so i think i try using loader.

    specialex: humm... did you read the tool thread?
    Guess that's the problem?

    I mod the bios using SSV3 method
