Hi Guys did a ` Poor Mans` install of win 8 used the wonderful MTK and all is good but the POST BIOS via hitting the esc key is not working ,anyways no problem just disconnected the cmos battery for 30 secs and yes I was able to access the BIOS using the esc again. But after a minute it reverted to no BIOS using the esc key, and yes I have already done the BIOS tweeks I.E CDrom first boot and 5 sec delay for esc key to be hit,still no joy I have to remove the cmos batt everytime. Anyone throw some light on this ?
Restart the machine instead of shutting down and booting up, my laptop has no POST if I shutdown and boot up with Win 8, only if I restart
