I just purchased a Dell Latitude 5511 which was previously owned by a company which is bankrupt. The laptop has a bios password and there is no way to contact the previous owner and there for I cannot access the bios or update it. I tried resetting it by removing the CMOS battery, normal battery and pressing the power button for at least 30 seconds. Left the machine for an hour and than reattached CMOS and nor battery. Still locked... There is no jumper on the mobo which I can try to reset it with. Any help is appreciated!
