BIOS password reset needed

    I am trying to log into an old Elitebook 2570p. Can't get by the BIOS password.

    Is there a way?

    he needs to make dump of chip with a programmer like ch341a or ezp201x

    Hi, I have a similar situation with my HP Elitebook 745 G5. I have contacted HP and they have given me a SMC file and I've put in onto my USB drive but I just can't trigger the SMC screen :( Any ideas?
