my pc was running ok untill i tryed to put a 3rd hdd in to run linux. but all the ribbons connection would only allow me to put 2 in so i started to put it back together when i put it together it would not work reinstalled x p on the 120g hdd i had in there.before i started i had dvd/rom dvd/cd r e w r i t e r s d k c a r d reader 80g 2nd hdd 120g os on 2.5 memory no floppy right put it back together and all i keep getting now is the screen with w i n d o w s will start normally and thats all it keeps doing. it did crash and it says that your cpu is not compatible with the bios this is the report i got M i c r o s o f t is unable to determine the exact cause of this error. is there a difference in memory sticks ive been looking at them some have 64* and others have 512mb ddr 333mhz-cl2.5 another 512mb ddr400mhz another 256 ddr pc2700 cl2.5 the last 1 32x64 256 ddr 166mhz cl2.5 can i use any or are thay different thanks

Why don't you just go to your PC Manufacturers Support site and download and flash the newest BIOS ? That may fix your problem.
the reason im ere is because ive tryed that but was not sure what i was looking for so i came ere for help so if i use these tools and post result just dont understand why some1 could put what you have.at least ive learnt somethings just by reading im just asking for help i know about flahing ive done many dreamboxes (sat receiver) and i play with nthell modems thay all need flashing but you know aswell as i do you can easy fry them .ive never done a pc that is why i was ere before i start and to be honest dont know manufacter or motherboard i was trying to do it to request bios update so ill run these programmes and post result.you gave me the time to answaer my post but still no answaer on the slic bump i posted what does this mean thanks. rsdt=intelrawrdacpi id=rsdt ?= publickey ?=marker os=32bit checksum-- ver--
