Replaced screen on an acer aspire one happy (aohappy pav70), after which the netbook fails to boot at all. After much research online this appears to be a common problem with acer aspire one's, resulting in a need to flash the bios to be able to boot again. There are many tutorials for accessing the bootblock to run a crisis disk across the system but not for this specific model. Most include downloading the bios from acer, copying the .fd files and flashi.exe files to a flash drive, then using the Fn and Esc button whilst turning the system on to start the crisis procedure for flashing the bios. This does not appear to work on this model so am looking for some help.
