I have a Lenovo Ideadpad 3. 15IIL05, Model Name#81WE,MTM,81WE011UUS That has a corrupted BIOS. It turns on but nothing on the screen, after a little while it shuts off and repeats the same process. No Lenovo Logo or anything, no lights blinking, Power light is on though. It did a firmware update and failed. Is there a BIOS recovery procedure for newer UEFI Lenovo Laptops using Insyde UEFI BIOS? I tried the Win+B power on method but that didnt work.
I tried that and it just powers on, no beeps, then shuts off and repeats the process. I've tried Win+b, Win+r, FN+b and FN+r.. is it possible its different for a 1 year old laptop ?
Crisis file name should for that model should be EMCrisis.bin Extract the BIOS.fd file from emcn52ww.exe and try renaming it to EMCrisis.bin, key press should be should be Fn + R.
i did that and still the same outcome,it comes on but no USB flashing nor do i get beeps of any sort. after a while it powers off, then on again , to do the same pattern, power on for a while,poweroff, poweron for a while, poweroff.
I am in the same boat with that laptop. Lenovo decided it wanted to do an update to the BIOS and it was during the middle of a storm and our power went out, the battery was dead and well..now we have a brick. Any help would be appreciated.
