bios rejection on my mini pci wireless card

    pls help me. i have a compaq presario v2000 amd sempron, v2405us service tag number. put a new hard drive. clean the unit. when i open it, BIOS reject my wireless card. bios is f.27. error 104-unsupported wireless network device detected. system halted. restart

    my wireless device is hp broadcom 54g maxperformance 802.11g

    also hp sticker noting:
    replace with hp spare 394462-001 7f0594

    ye, this is funny why they have those restrcited bioses in the first place which is pretty stupid

    apparently its cas of legal restrictions in various countries etc

    yet other companies dont do it ?? its a case of overpriced wifi cards from HP.. when yours breaks ? lookup how much they are at hp.. now lok at same model chipset card from another manufacturer.. cheaper ? yah
