Hi,what happens if i flash a normal bios with a bios with a new slic 2.1 id.

What i need to know is this,i am running xp pro with the standard bios as released from asrock, if i install w7 in dual boot on another partition or hdd and i flash a modded bios with slic 2.1 will it affect my xp install in any way.I am not bothered about doing 2 clean installs but would my xp key still be good with a modded bios or would i have to get a new key compatible for xp because of the new bios. Thanks in advance for any replies.

From what I've had so far, and I've tested this myself, flashing your BIOS to SLIC 2.1 for Win7 will not affect your Windows XP edition in any way.
I dual-booted with it for a while and had no problems related to it.
