Well many here would say that Windows 8 is eveal so this is the ultimate prooof of the downfall of Windows 8 and Microsoft.

The worst thing about Windows 8 is that it can't run on nearly 10 year old Hardware but Windows 7 does (somehow) run so Windows 7 have to be better! What a shame! o_Oo_O

Well I've another sugestion: Let's put some fancy stickers on a 40 year old VW-Bug (yes the 36 HP Version with the seperated backwindow) and drive a Nascar-Race with it!

That one were the so called: "Brezel Kaefer", had on beginning just 24HP and no hydraulic brakes, and was build starting 1947. I had one from 1952 with 28HP, my first car!!

OK, that were Off Topic, sorry for that, but a good time for to remember!!

Back to topic! Some of the 10-12 years old hardware still works with Windows 8! But it's a pain the the a** for to do that! There were to many technical changes within the last 10-12 years and many new things was coming, which are today just be the standard. A generation of electronic and related hardware are are shorten down to below 1 year. Question would be: for how many generation should software backward compatible? 2,3,4 5 or more? I think the border would be somewhere by max 5!

10-12 years ago, how many companies were using mainly computer for communication? just about 20-30% while today that are 80+%!! 20 years ago many people even had known what an E-Mail would be! And who write today a letter from Hand?

That's life, so for old computer we hardly could use with todays software!
