    So...
Is this bios you are posting a link to the latest updated bios from
Toshiba, or is it a modded bios for use in activating W7? I apologize for my confusion....

Yea that's the update from Toshiba..

No such luck with HP, I have several HP's Brought early this year with Vista.
They are offering The free Windows 7 Home Upgrade for them, the site contains new drivers for 7, but no new Bioses. Well at least as of yet or for these Models...

So, I'm still stuck with 2.0 SLic's on them.. But fingers Crossed...:D

I flashed my firmware with a hacked slic 2.1 for my Toshiba L305D. I have windows 7 activated with it. Is there a good reason to reflash with this one? I see SLP 2.1; what is the difference. TIA.

EDIT: I see mine was flashed with hacked 1.50 firmware, so the real question is, will my windows 7 still be activated with this new version if I flash to 1.80?

This is the official BIOS from Toshiba. It's not modified in any way plus it probably fixes a lot of problems in your model computer as it indicated in my post. Might be best to overwrite it with Toshiba's if you can. Use OpalTools to put in the TOSHIBA-XXXINV.cert and that should be it for you. In hindsight it shouldn't even deactivate your copy of Windows 7. Personally I would update it just to put all those fixes from it into your model. We can deal with the de-activation if it occurs. I'm on for a bit.

What models of Toshiba is this bios good for? I've got an older Satelite A100. Would this work?
