If that is what you think you know what to do, I see you didn't get an answer over on bios-mods.com either obviously with the information you have posted is useless. You need to check your computer manufacturers site for bios updates for you model.

Is this an original packard bell machine or is it just the motherboard e.c.t you have in another box if it is original then look at the box and get actual name of computer and model or try running Aida64. even searching on google with info you have provided just brings me back to MDL. You keep saying your bios needs updating why ? the only way you would know that is if you were on Packard bell site.
yes this is original packard bell s/n 029817420108.motherboard nec computers inter.model palomar ms 6763 version p851001501 and the bios is bios version w6731p2 v.3.8 award bios v6.00pc i was useing rw now if thats wrong why are pepole useing it do you understand what im saying i went all thru the post tito put up then it was taken down because i was told i was spamming how can i be thats all the info ive got useing speccy and so on so what more info can i give you thanks
^ I got you now. The Actual BIOS is Version 3.8 Dated 07/29/2003 and it is just an Award v6.00 Type BIOS. He is simply confused by the Numbers / info, from what I see. But if there even is a BIOS Update available he will need to go to Packard Bell's Support site to get it. Without know what EXACt Model PC that MB came from that will be a very difficult thing to check. I guess he could Email Packard Bell Support and ask.

ive been on google and yes i have sent emial to them still no reply i think its because im not sure what to do im no pc buff. anyway ive ran a programe called re pc scan and repair and it gives you a report i think ive got dios now this is what i got cpu intel(R) PENTIUM (R) 4CPU 2.60GHZ by genuinelintel 2600mhz 32bit in socket 478 socket @1.4.v mainboard palmorar (ms 6763) by nec computers international s/n intelr_42302e31 bios released 07/29/2003 s/n 03020262110 thats all i could find hope this helps thanks
