    Hi All,

    Running Win7x64 Ultimate, have bitlocker (no TPM) set up on a thumb drive, it works as expected. I recently did a HDD partition and it's...odd. First time use it unlocked just fine, now there's no option to lock it? The thumb drive's menu has an "eject" option that resets BL so you need to renter the PW to use it again. I cannot figure out how to "relock" this HDD partition, it's always accessible w/o entering a PW...

    TIA!

    @RASelkirk
    dear sir you have to run command (elevated):
    manage-bde -lock x: (x: is your partition)

    Awesome, cannot believe how thankful I am for this! I Googled bitlocker for hours and never saw a word about manage-bde and it's parameters. Even found a nice little script (batchfile) from Spiceworks that I've configure to run using "File Menu Tools".

    Thanks!
