    Hello everyone,
I hop you all doing well. I have Acer Aspire 4741. Once I run the computer, it appears a black screen which says this messag:

"windows has encountered a problem comunication with a device connected to your computer.
This error can be caused by unplugging a removable storage device such as an external USB drive while the device is in ude, or by faulty hardware such as a hard drive or CD-ROM drive that is failing . Make sure any removable storage is properly connected and then restart your computer.

If you continue to recive this error message, contacte the hardware manufacturer.

    Statuse: Oxc00000e9
info: An unexpected I/o error has occurred"

    Looking forward to your help
    Best, :)

then test ram or hard disk.
ram= memtest in hirens disk menu.
HDD= S.M.A.R.T. logs with hirens boot cd or even with linux disk utility from a USB in live mode also with YUMI USB tool.
sounds like ram to me. but could be hdd or even motherboard chipset.

file scavenger or find and mount in hirens cd.

    in linux gddrescue

if hard disk is able to communicate.. likely it has a bad ram cache buffer on circuit board.
    or a bad head

    Good work latin :)

You can also use hirens to test the HDD for faults and errors.

the problem with my old HDD is that i can't access to the computer; it just gives me a black screen. How can i use that program while i'm not able to access to the computer.

    Best,

Plug your damaged HDD in with an external SATA connector.

try find and mount to see if it sees the hard disk. like i said before..the circuit on disk likely is bad.
cant control the heads and thus no read.

hddguru.com is good source of hdd info
