Under Win8.x Pro user can block all of the online features of Microsoft Office 2013 using gpedit and Office-Admintemplates available from Microsoft. This way Office 2013 behaves like a offline local thing without Skydrive and MS-Account/Syncing of Themes etc.

I wonder if there is a registry tweak that allows the same things under Windows 8./.1 ( the non"pro" ones ) . As you might know these "Home" Editions don't have gpedit.msc and therefore can not apply admintemplates at all.

The only solution so far was to put Windows 8/.1 completely to a local Account, but I want to use MS-Account for Windows, just not for Office. Thus the damn need for the Pro Versions.

    Any way around that ?
