Basically, new Win 11, forgot login details, made up email....
Trying to boot from usb with password cracker but keep getting blue recovery page with 0xc000000f code. When booting from Windows as primary, all normal, straight to password page.
Is this Win's defence mechanism or am I doing something wrong with boot options?
Spent whole day trying different things...F2 UEFI as primary, then F12 UEFI primary....Driving me krazee...
    Help anyone pls...
I looked at 37 pages here and threads but couldn't find, sorry if post exists already..

    Many thanks for your reply...

""but you said that your Windows starts but you don't remember the login details, then you need to go to the Windows boot menu and select commandpromt from there, then enable the built-in administrator account, which does not have a password but has full administrator rights, restart the computer and open this just allowed account and then you can change whatever you want."""

I meant to say the system brings me back to login prompt bit...

    Many thanks again...

Which tool you are using exactly? Windows forgotten password reset is much easier than trying to crack forgotten windows password assuming the password was not a simple one. Also, resetting windows password will make any file using EFS previously permanently inaccessible. You can use hirens boot cd/dvd to reset windows password.
