what tool do you use to make a bootable CD? also can you use DVD RW?
Is this referring to your other thread ?
What file structure are we talking.
.iso image. There are many burning apps out there. Some are free and some are well, you know. Ashampoo is one of my favs but Power ISO is a good tool.
Burning your XP image to dvd-rw is not a good idea, stick with CD-r.
If you only have the OS files and not a .iso image I would suggest a tool called nLite. This does many many things but is very good at making the OS files into a nice bootable .iso image and is simple to use.
Awesome thank you for the thorough reply. I currently have an XP iso. Thank you and ill give your suggestions a lot.
Here to help.
I have always used dvd-rw's on all my burns and never had any problems! CD-R/DVD-R can only be used once, and I only use them when I have a finished product. Which is not to often. There is always something to change.
