BOOTMGR is missing

    Error keep coming every few days boot manager missing.I Insert windows 7 sp1 CD and repair the problem.after few days same problem.how to fix this.what is causing this problem?

    Run CHKDSK on your boot drive, might be some corruption going on or you have malware thats removing your boot manager (bootmgr is just a file)

    boot w7install disk/iso do a repair if that doesnt work search for a mbrfix or fixmbr (for w7)

    If it is a repeat occurance i'd venture to guess that malware or some sort of virus is messing with your bootmngr. run full virus scans etc. repair using windows dvd. might also be something with your partition properties ---- Right Click Computer > Manage > Storage > Disk Management *
