bootmgr + slic ?

    Hi!
    • Is there any way I can maually add slic to bootmgr?
    • Could I use the "SLICed" bootmgr from vista to replce 7s bootmgr?

    As far as I know you can't. That's the reason why all the Win7 loaders use grldr ( GRUB ).
    Search in the forum for a tutorial about manually creating a modified grldr file.

    frwil, your bootmgr does not work buddy. W7 just wont boot, stays at black screen right after POST. :confused:

    Yes that's what i heard from one other experimentator... weird because on mine PC it works just fine... Probably it works only on some boards (mine is a bit old Gigabyte with 478 socket, AWARD BIOS). There're good programmers on this forum, maybe they'll find a way to improve code, after all it's not very large... and they did it even for NIC card's chips...
