Forget using modded bios for the moment and concentrate on just recovering your bios first, using an original bios file check out award bios recovery in the bios recovery section.
thanks for replying Urie .motherboard has been returned ,as it had a damaged heatsink on the graphics chip .new one arriving tommorow (hopefully) . I have never had any problems with Gigabyte boards before ,and have modded several . I just want to know why it bricked using a bios modded using ssv3 (0+2) method when the bios did mod successfully . its a recent board so I dont think anyone else here would have mooded one yet .
You are assuming it was the bios mod it may have just been coincidental i,e damaged heatsink that was the problem.
In the other topic you mention you used SSV1 method, not SSV3 (0+2) Anyway no cross posting allowed, closing this one
damaged heatsink In the other topic you say you bricked your board by a faulty bios flash... making up stories?
