Brightness Slider doesn't work only fn keys work

    any idea what could be the issue? my drivers seems to be working is there a service that I need to enable?

    Assuming you're talking about Windows, go into Power Options, Advanced Power Settings, Display, and make sure Adaptive Brightness is disabled.

    thats a feature mostly for laptops and tablets (ACPI brightness control)...
    for desktop u got to monitor buttons.. or amd/nvidia control settings

    I am confused I can't control brightness using button like these www imgur com / lgDy6UG the weird thing is only my fn keys on laptop is working too control brightness? my laptop model is HP 2000-2b19WM . I been googling for past two days too figure why it isn't working?

    bios updated to latest ?

    my bios is on the latest version? I don't know what could be the problem? is there some windows feature that I need to enable?

    not supported on windows server, thats the reason, you have to use 10

    this is a funny windows issue I tried another program to control brightness called Ibrightness tray, and it worked perfect.
