BU win7

    i used Hazar's 7Loader 1.6.1 (or 1.6.1d) to activate win 7.

    Everything worked fine (thnx a lot) .

    My question is the following :

    I made a BU of win 7 and what will happen if I will use that BU later ! Will win 7 still be activated ?

    If it's the same pc it should work on another u need to reinstall the loader.

    thnx but additional question:


    Has anybody already tried the win 7 BU or is it better with acronis software ?

    I used that on XP and it worked very good !

    The win 7 BU is very slow - takes about 4-5 hours !

    Yes I use it and works flawless but I've to say that I modded my bios...

    Ok. Right now I dual boot XP and 7. Right now I only keep XP around for the Acronis BU installed. I don't have a cr#cked version for 7 - seems like later versions than the one I use are bloated. Will the built in 7 BU to a hidden partition like Acronis?

    Don't think so ( unhide, BU & hide again ) but it offers support for network BU.

    :( such a hassle. I think I'll keep the XP for that, and the fact I boot into it to repair other ppls HD's when I'm removing spyware, lol.

    Is there anybody using acronis true image home 2010 v13 on a win 7 32bit with 7 loader ?

    I prefer to BU only one partition with the OS on and not the other 2 partitions with data!
    It goes much faster than the win 7 BU .

    Works perfectly, i am using it since win 7 came out in october 2009.

    acronis backup is much faster and takes less space..

    No - but I use it on a 64 bit system - what difference does the loader make ? - None.
