Press shift + right click on icon in taskbar and choose from the opened menu the "Delete" option.
    The icon not deleted.
Now press again on the same icon with the left click of the mouse, and then you will receive message.
After pressing Yes, the icon will delete.

What's the sense behind 'deleting' them when you can simply 'Unpin the item from Taskbar' :g:?

It's useful for people who use the "shift+right click" menu.
I never use the option "Unpin the item from Taskbar" because I never unpin items from there.

By the way, you said that because the applications that you can unpin them from taskbar. It's become popular.

Although the admin context menu is indeed usefull, deleting them still makes no sense.

I agree. A simple right click, select 'Unpin' and the job is done. Makes sense to me.. Then again, some people like apple pie, some like cherry pie. All a matter of habits and taste........

As it doesn't seem to be intended that way, the UI needs to be refreshed to get rid of that item :cool2:. So it's not a bug, more a hickup.

Evidently, at this point in time, yes.. However, I do not speak from experience, as I always use the unpin method. I like cherry pie, so I stick with that, you see?
