First let me say I have multi boot xp pro 64bit Vista ultimate 64 bit and windows 7 ultimate 64 bit rtm. Now I have a 8800gts g92 video card and when I create a custom resolution in W7 of 1440x900 for my two Samsung T240hd monitors set to clone each other all is fine but when the monitor goes to shut off after 10 minutes (default) or whatever time you set in power options in control panel it shuts off but after you move the mouse or hit a key on the keyboard Blue Screen of death. Now this is not a problem with XP or vista with the custom resolution, only W7. I have refomatted several times, install older than the newest nvidia drivers and many other things with no solution. This has never been a problem for me until W7. Now if I set the rsolution to one of the set resolutions already in Nvidia control panel the problem does not occur only with custom resolutions and only on W7 64bit (not sure about 32bit as have no use for that with 8 gigs of ram) The stock resolutions are pretty much useless to me. So I hope someone has a fix or a solution for this very serious problem or I have to revert back to using Vista. Below is the Blue screen info if this will help anyone. Thanks for any help in this matter.

Report it to Microsoft and Nvidia.
Since this seems like a genuine bug, I think the only solutions would be to either:
    1). Use a standard resolution
    2). Try disabling the cloning

    Forgot to mention

I forgot to mention that this problem has been duplicated on my friends computer with a different mobo and a 8800gts 320 meg video card also running W7 Ult 64bit. So I must assume that anyone running a Nvidia card that this will happen (not sure about Ati cards). Thanks

I am still working on a resolution for this bug cause it is driving me crazy. I disable dep, that had no effect. I installed 8 month old Nvidia drivers they work just as good as the new ones, but the prob still exist with those. If someone needs to have a similar setup with a custom resolution let me know. I would report this to Nvidia and Microsoft but I need to be pointed in the right direction.
