I bought 3 Dell Optiplex 755's for resale and upon tinkering with them ( I've never really worked in an Optiplex newer than a GX280 ). The tooless cases are awsome to work in. Can these cases be reused to build a custom computer, or are the mobo standoffs built in?. My work uses 755's also, altho I'm not in the IT dept so I don't fix hardware issues. and they probably have a few dead ones with nice cases.. I thought my Coolermaster Elite was nice to work in, but these have them beat with cable routing clips and the drive bay releases

the 755 uses a micro BTX or BTX form factor board, depending on which type of 755 it is.... there are several variants
your choices of BTX motherboards are very limited at best... the DIY market has been very firmly footed in ATX

They are mid tower 755's. Not the SFF or USFF boxes.. I read about the BTX form factor and was hoping that is what it was not. Oh well, guess a computer only needs built once so I'll just stick to Coolermasters
