Hello all, When I am burning Windows 8 iso and then created from burned disc iso back and compare md5, sha1 of original iso and iso created from burned disc hash's are different, but why?? I test this in Windows 8. But there is very interesting thing that when I am doing all these procedures in Windows XP I have no problem original iso comparing with burned disc created iso hash's are the same with no difference. Where is problem? The interesting thing is that this problem is in Linux too! These procedures I do with CDBurnerXP.
You should always use Imgburn as it will always leave the hashes unchanged when burning then reading back, I found that most other programs change the hash, this is where Imgburn becomes a valuable asset.
Imgburn runs on linux if you use wine, maybe the burning engine was changed after XP, also some burning software like nero messes up the hashes so be carefull which one you use.
