I'm looking for too. The new Moto G (3rd gen) is a very good option. There are two versions, one is $180 and one is $220. $180 = 8GB storage + 1GB RAM. $220 = 16GB storage + 2GB RAM Though the 2GB ram price is totally overpriced, it's probably better to go with that, if you are the person who keeps his phone for years..
I was also looking for a new phone and i decided on the Moto X Pure Edition if you are in the U.S or Style outside of the US It cost $400 but It has 3Gb Ram with a 21 megapixel camera and micro sd slot and a 1440p screen
I tend to agree with @GoLLuM13, depends what you want to use it for. I currently have the Samsung Note 3 and love it. If I was to upgrade I'd either choose another Note or the LG G4. But please so the love of God, don't get an Apple phone!!!
