I have noticed that anybody can buy Windows 7 OEM on websites such as cheap-oem-software.us,where you can buy and download Win 7 Ultimate for $120 (US).Are these sites trustworthy? Does anybody know about these sites?

Wow, all those sites look completely fake... I wouldn't trust them at all. If you are concerned, contact Microsoft.

Cost at distribution for Microsoft software:
    Windows 7 Ultimate OEM - GLC-00736 = ~$200
    Windows 7 Ultimate Upgrade Retail - GLC-00184 = ~$200
    Windows 7 Ultimate Full Retail - GLC-00182 = ~$300

    Make your own decision...

Can't you just buy the oem stuff from newegg? It allows you to add to your cart without even building a pc....

I would not buy anything online unless you know absolutely for sure that the site is a real shop site and not a scam site. I know mcafee siteadvisor tells you if you go to a scam shop site. You have to remember that for things like windows 7 that most likely legit online stores will sell it for around the same prise as Microsoft, maybe a little bit cheaper for competition but you must remember that if it looks too good to be true, most likely it is to good to be true and is a scam. If you find anything like windows 7 for like half the normal prise most likely it is a fake or a pirated copy so be careful guys. ;)

    Fake.

Only Microsoft themselves sell a digital version of Windows 7.

Here in germany you can buy OEM (System Builder) Versions everywhere. Due to a Federal Court ruling Microsoft is forced to sell these to regular Users too.
You get a Full Version at a lower price than an Upgrade. The only things missing are the colourful Packaging an the two Support-Phone-Calls.

I didn't say this domain is in Germany. All I wanted to say was that it could be perfectly legal (and normal) to buy and own a OEM version, which in fact can be a digital version. But I don't know anything about russian or us laws

If you buy an OEM version:

    1. Can you change hardware after you have activated and accepted by WGA?

    2. Is it possible if you have bought a 32bit licence and than switch later to 64bit, using the same OEM key?

It would be interesting if you can use one of the key checking tools to see if it's truly "Retail" across the board or if it's indicated as MSDN channel.

If it's someone misusing an MSDN / Technet account, you still have decent odds of it eventually getting blacklisted and shut off.

I still have plenty of doubts about those eBay keys. Just because you got it validated for now means little.

I've just checked with Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Tool and it reports that validation is genuine and product id type is 5 - Retail.

MSDN keys are Retail key type, but with different eula type, which pidcheckers don't show, but you can do it manually by looking for Activation Configuration ID or PartNumber.. Here's the list (from pkeyconfig.xrm-ms) for all PID ranges of MSDN keys:
