The repeater wouldn't work in my case. I don't want to carry an extra device as in my existing hotspot. This is tunring the cellular modem in my laptop into a hotspot. After Windows10 1803, they have enforced a carrier check to see if you are provisioned for a sharing data through a hotspot.
Ah. the sim is in your Windows 10 machine. I misunderstood what you said and thought the sim was in the hotspot. I would delete my earlier post, but it could possibly help someone trying to share a cellular hotspot at home. Good luck finding a fix for the stupid app. It astounds me that AT&T or anybody else even cares how you use your bandwidth. Greedy bas&$%^s.
