Hi I have an LG tv connected to a verizon streaming cable box so i can watch tv. What I would like to know is can i hookup the following device https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BY6KSG4X?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title and use it so I can use it as a DVR so I can record programs such as football while I am at work and watch it when i get home. If anyone is knowledgeable about these type of setups could let me knoe if it is possible I would greatly appreciate it. TYVM
Hm... Stream is decoded in your verizon box, no? Your verizon box have a cable/coax link-through after decoding? That would be plug and play since input is through the coax on this amazon decoder. How i interpret this decoder btw.
Look at it this way: If the stream content is free of charge, you should be good with some form of a coax splitter. If the stream content is not free, it must be decoded somewhere and in accordance to a subscription first. My guess your cable box... (not a tv guy btw )
The description on Amazon indicates it is used for over the air (ATSC) broadcasts received through an antenna. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Question, if i bought an antenna like this https://www.amazon.com/Antenna-360°Reception-Detachable-Amplifier-Signal-Portable/dp/B0DY4KK5GL/ref=sr_1_2?crid=2GM588X7KCZ1Y&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.BcfjIeVuDMPYREu2VLFMmIdIpFaWp_cJO6pHebgdJU9UJTcQQQrEUhFgxHWUbaPB_v6YmSbnKu1hJjEKv4z8PQ3cVpBNX2m5lQYuWeWPem7yknStHU1RJt4Hxg8MOuQny70VhIFXUmwDQFmtKwhXK4IWD3c5M12fWqILjAJDIA3KUHq5NiZfm5s29jdLiLy_6rTrBETctrWkrlXR9CyH5gNxzOD0HWf624RRmWMcnW0.aU8o-dTXNgZMKILlNJ6TvQf7t04MrSv-onWCBZhechc&dib_tag=se&keywords=OTA+antenna&qid=1753558929&sprefix=ota+antenna%2Caps%2C114&sr=8-2 and hook it up to one of my tv's. Could I use this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BY6KSG4X?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title so i can record nfl games and watch them when i get home from work for free?
