    Hi

I have an LG tv connected to a verizon streaming cable box so i can watch tv. What I would like to know is can i hookup the following device https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BY6KSG4X?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title and use it so I can use it as a DVR so I can record programs such as football while I am at work and watch it when i get home.

If anyone is knowledgeable about these type of setups could let me knoe if it is possible I would greatly appreciate it.

    TYVM

    Hm...

Stream is decoded in your verizon box, no?
Your verizon box have a cable/coax link-through after decoding?
That would be plug and play since input is through the coax on this amazon decoder.

How i interpret this decoder btw. :)

    Look at it this way:
If the stream content is free of charge, you should be good with some form of a coax splitter.
If the stream content is not free, it must be decoded somewhere and in accordance to a subscription first.
    My guess your cable box...

    (not a tv guy btw ;) )

The description on Amazon indicates it is used for over the air (ATSC) broadcasts received through an antenna.

If you are in an area with decent OTA signal strength, yes.
