Hi All, I would like to see my pictures made with my Canon 40D (.CR2) as thumbnails instead of photoshop icons. windows 7 or windows 8 updates aren't working.... are there any Camera RAW plugins for Win8.1 allready ? I would like to have native Windows plugins, no IrfanView or something.....
does it create thumbnails ? its not a support issue, Photoshop supports it too, only problem is, I cannot easily search for a photo, because I cannot see thumbs....
nah, no irfanview, I want to see the thumbs from within Explorer... Guess I'll have to wait until releasedate....
uninstall all update with name code. Install the code from your provider. search rqvalencia in google goto to cadascu.wordpress.com and you find a post with the explication For me , the tutorial work fine.
I have a 40D and I see thumbnails. I have Irfan view installed, perhaps that is what enabled my thumbnail views.
in same cases, codes from Microsoft don't run property. in my case, in a laptop runs fine but in my desktop don't run. Microsoft codecs pack are usually installed by windows update. I uninstalled these codecs and I installed the codecs from my provider. So, I can see the thumbnails in exolirer and I can use the windows explorer for seeing them. When I want to edit I use others programs as photoshop. Ps I have a olympus camera

ok, It could be. however , there are lots of people who have a problema with the "orf image". You can see for example the post in Microsoft fórum. There is something that doesn't let see the thumbails into explorer. I've noted that the provider códecs run fine. It's a possible solution other possible solution is uninstall the microsfoft pack codec , uninstall any codec relationed witn "raw". reboot the system and then installa manually the microsoft codec. but it's a opinion
