    Hello all,

I dont know if this is a correct place for this or not and if not please move it to the correct spot. I was wondering if it is possible to use a URL instead of an IP address for a HTTP proxy? All HTTP proxies I have seen have all been IP addresses and I want to set one up on my Desktop at home and use one of my URL's as the proxy address. Does anyone know if this is possible or does it have to be an IP?

so far i play arround with proxy...you can't using proxy as your fix IP address
just for bypassing..through proxy server..because you have static ip that was
determined by your ISP...this is my thought. and wait for others replied...
