yes there are vl and retail versions in win 8. to cahnge retail to vl or vice versa just change ur key using Code: cscript slmgr.vbs /ipk:{key} note if using cscript goto c:\windows/system32 in cmd. or else just run cmd as admin
I have not completely understood If i am going to use a (micro)KMS activator do i still need to change/insert a key? Does the fact that i was asked for a key during installation (without a skip option) mean i am in possession of a retail copy?
hi, volume channel is available for pro and enterprise editions. no volume channel for core. to switch to vl just use vl key (mak).
