Try requesting microsoft to provide you with a product key for free, who knows they might actually give you one i.e if their windows 8 sales are good. On serious note do you really think any one will just give away their product key to you even if they have extra one. Use kms activation as mentioned by French Frog until something better comes up.

Are you kidding me? $15-$40 is to much? And then rip off NSBE? You know I like this site but should ban people that ask for this. This is the only reason they are here. Like microsoft or not there are real people behind it all just doing their job. You cry when its $200 now you cry when its $15 and you wonder why life just isnt going right lol. It all comes back to ya. Were only here once.. do something with it..

It's the second time I bought something from MS (since windows 3.0, I think I paid like $100 in 1990, lol). But at $15 we can't go wrong, it's a very good deal to go legit!
I bought 3 keys and plan to buy another 2 for my sister and my mother (she loved the win8 look)

simply make a backup of your system or activation and you go after Jan 2013

 

Two things: You can't install just using the WMC keys, that's right. You need an activated Win8 Pro (VL or Retail doesn't matter).

I *think* the key must be activated at least once before Jan 2013, then it's usable forever. But I don't know.

 

This way you get tied to you present hardware?
