Yeah, you can put the images in install.wim, and use Windows 8 setup to install them. Just don't start another thread about how you're going to fit that on a DVD, I think we've got enough of those already.
I have actually tried this and it did not work. Windows Vista / Server 2008 & Windows 7 / Server 2008 R2 keep their licence agreements in a licence folder inside boot.wim and inside the sources folder. Windows 8 / Server 2012 does not use that method and I can only suspect they store the licences in a .dll somewhere. I even tried to manually add the licence folder and no luck. I would get this error,
Thanks everyone ! I already done it using YUMI , but was thinking if I can merge them in one setup ! but looks like it can't be done
Yes, it can be done.. This is what i did, First, i created Windows 8.1 AIO using this thread: Code: forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/35650-Creating-a-Windows-8-1-AIO-with-Media-Center-manually Next, i created also Windows 7 AIO Then, i combine them using Win Toolkit 1.4.1.28 and put the combined install.wim into Windows 8.1 x86 folder and created ISO.. I successfully installed Windows 7 and 8.1 using the ISO i created..
