Can I know slic version before install Win?

    Hello,
    sorry, but I'm a noobie and maybe my question is stupid, but...

    Can I know which slic (2.0 or 2.1 or nothing) has my bios before install Windows 7, in a "just buy" motherboard?
    I buy Asrock P67 Extreme4, but I can't use slictool because I have to install win before.

    I thought to a tool from floppy or usb in dos.
    Or can I know the slic from file bios .rom downloaded from Asrock site?

    No desktop mobo has built-in SLIC!! Except for branded pc's mobos... ;)

    Oh, ok, thanks Tito.
    This motherboard does not have a way to recover a corrupted bios, then I'm afraid to manage with the bios.
    I think it is wiser to use a bios emulator (Diaz, etc..), isn't it?
    What do you recommend me?

    why AS(S)rock manufacturer never have bios recovery solution????

    Totally untrue, most Asus barebones come with slic

    Is it so?? I think only those mobo have SLIC which are the part of such PCs, that are preinstalled with Win 7 o_O
