Hello, sorry, but I'm a noobie and maybe my question is stupid, but... Can I know which slic (2.0 or 2.1 or nothing) has my bios before install Windows 7, in a "just buy" motherboard? I buy Asrock P67 Extreme4, but I can't use slictool because I have to install win before. I thought to a tool from floppy or usb in dos. Or can I know the slic from file bios .rom downloaded from Asrock site? Thanks in advance, and be patient...
Oh, ok, thanks Tito. This motherboard does not have a way to recover a corrupted bios, then I'm afraid to manage with the bios. I think it is wiser to use a bios emulator (Diaz, etc..), isn't it? What do you recommend me?
Is it so?? I think only those mobo have SLIC which are the part of such PCs, that are preinstalled with Win 7 BTW, thanks for the correction
