I have just performed a clean re-installation of Win 10 pro x64. And afterwards installed office 2013 x86 proplus and the only update I installed was sp1. Now I tried to install KB3039720 with the .exe I got from WHDownloader and it did not install at all. It also failed when I try to install the update manually by downloading it from microsoft.com. I got a errormessage from the standalone installer, but not which errorcode, only that it failed. Next step I extracted ocfxca-x-none.msp from the kb package. And install it through commandline. But I do recieve the errorcode 1648(step forward I suppose). Here comes the weird part, when I google for 1648+office I only get results for office 2003 or adobe acrobat. And almost all results dates back to 2005-2009. So it is probably very outdated information. Suggestions on how to proceed? Cause I am currently stumped.
