Hi, My laptop is: hp-pavilion-g6. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3632QM CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.20 GHz. 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable) When I tried to install windows 11, it says during setup wizard that it can not be installed on this computer. Please help.
You mean this one: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/win-11-boot-and-upgrade-fix-kit-v2-0.83724/ If you may just name it and I will search for it.
download wintohdd run installation then go to bios and choose boot from drive where install or external disc...
Not lie but there doesn't seem to be any sign that you ever even played with windows/pc's before. And yes, that would be a tool to fix win 11 boot and upgrade requirements.
I've been in situations where they hired a new guy that didn't know anything and at that point my job switched from fixing things to also keeping the new guy from breaking things and also fixing what he broke.
Before people start accusing me of being a horrible person again, i just asked him out of curiosity why he was hired there or why he wanted to work in such a job when not showing any affinity to that kind of work
Learning can be a hard thing, made much more so, with trash like Win10/11 roaming. It screws up the best of minds, but for newbies?, they really don't stand a chance
Everybody started at Ground (Zero) every time starting something new! That applies even to those who always showing they are know everything, and bashing those who just learning, or be not good with something! @jineso7341: Just keep asking if you need to get some information, there are a lot of good people on MDL who are willing to help selflessly!
i install via wintohdd and before that i run this script about tpm etc. and i normal can run system on external drive
There's a difference between not knowing and wanting to learn, and not knowing and instead of putting in any effort just trying to get others to do the work for you. But I don't expect you to understand that.
I don't understand why you bring up his job in the first place while he just created a post that he could not install windows 11. If it is his job so be it, but it has nothing to do with the help question from the OP. Infact he didn't do anything wrong, Microsoft does not support his model to install windows 11. When you go to a shop and ask this question "I cannot install Windows 11 on my 10 year old machine" they would say that Windows 11 does not run on his system and he has to buy a new one. They don't talk about bypassing or using tools to install Windows 11. I have a 4 years old laptop with a i7-7700HQ and even that one is not supported, microsoft gets a big middle finger from me because i am tired of their policy/spying so i installed Pop! OS. Running out of the box, no drivers needed to install everything works. All my games from windows are running great (if not better) in linux with steam proton and lutris. I don't need Windows, i can do everything in Linux.
1. Simple - copy install.wim (Windows 11) to * .iso Windows 10 / 8.1 (X:\sources\) or 2. Difficult - install the system via DISM (install.wim works with DISM commands in Windows 8.1 / 10) or 3. Recommended - the system is relatively recent, so I recommend installing it on a VHD virtual disk (HDD), preferably on a VHDX (SSD). Test and check if it works well with your machine.
It can be. It uses gnome by default which isn't considered lightweight, but you can change the desktop environment to one that is. Otherwise it's just modified ubuntu.
