can not run WSL on win10 LTSB

    Update the windows 10 LTSB to 1607(14393.1480), WSL can not start.
    How can I make the WSL work again?

    Did you try going to Turn Windows Features On or Off, uninstalling it, then reinstalling?

    My understanding was that WSL was never meant for LTSB (LTSC) and only included accidentally before MS disabled the feature because it was in Beta.

    Although now that WSL is out of beta, I don't know if MS will immediately bring it to LTSB or wait for the next version possibly not til 2019.

    I stripped down 16251 Enterprise of everything, and enabled WSL, but you need to get the distros from the Windows Store.

    I'm waiting for RS3 to be finalized to do the same, I just can't be bothered to do it with every IP release.
