    Bios revision f.0e

Ok so after doing research I attempted to do a change to my whitelist. My bios was a bin file not an fd file. This was my first attempt and I want to see how I can get this working. I Installed HP Uefi Tools and HP Uefi Diagnostic Tools. I updated my bios to F.0E. Hp UEFI Tools saved the bios to a FAT32 Thumbdrive in the current directory. I was able to decompose this version of the bios into its modules using phonix tools 1.85. I located a module that seemed to have the device Ids for eligible s**tty cards HP allows (CD28DACA-BDBE-481A-90AC-625C79CF234C_2_843.rom) I selected no slic and allow users to modify other modules and changed no other settings. I hit go and let it tell me when I could save the module and so I did. It saved the changes and didn't give me a warning about changing file size at any time which it does so I didn't. I copied the adjusted bios to the New bios folder. I went through the HP bios diagnostic tool to flash it and.....The signature is not valid. I changed a single hex line from

    86 80 84 00 86 80 15 13

    to

    86 80 2C 42 86 80 01 13

    Any Ideas? Please?
